186 Days and Counting!

I'm getting married on July 15, 2011...so now what!??!?

You're wedding day only happens once in your life...knock on wood... and you want to look fabulous for it.  Right?  Well I didn't think it was such a big deal at first but I've been asking around and flipping through bridal magazines and apparently it is!

I always believed brides had a natural glow about them.  But apparently the dewy look of love comes with a lot of effort, time and money...and I don't want be the only bride left behind - the bride that never tried. So I'm making the pledge today that I'll be taking some time out of my busy schedule on a weekly basis to make myself bridal ready =) Exercise routines, hair and skin treatments, and 4 buckets of water here I come!  I’ll be doing research, testing out old wives tales and asking for your advice....Bridal Bliss here I come!

  1. In all honesty, I did nothing. Hit the gym less if anything because I was busy with work etc. The natural glow just popped up out of nowhere on the day of from having all my family and friends around me adn well, Nabeel :) (having a nice makeup lady helps too lol) But just don't stress over the small stuff, enjoy the chaos that comes with wedding planning. Keeping yourself healthy is great, but you're already so slim and perfect! And I saw your engagement pics and you look stunning in them. In the end, you can plan and schedule to tears, but it'll work out how it's meant to so have fun!

  2. Woohoo.. can't wait!!

Now, how much of this routine have you kept up with? Don't make life too complicated... I say you hit the gym, maybe a class or two a week, get a facial 2 more times before the wedding, apply ubtan to your face (if your face isn't too sensitive that is) it does wonders for that glow, drink plenty of water and sleep well!
